This website design is based on the theme of challenging what is thought to be a rule that must be complied but it isn't. The design uses the way that other websites do not use. For example, instead of having the scrollbar at the right, we have it at left; instead of having the navigation pane at left, we have it at right; instead of using tables to position the items, we use only divs with CSS; and instead of having the whole page scrolled, we only scroll the selected section. Although it is designed by challenging the norm, it is user-friendly and it lets users to have good user-experience that is no worse than those traditional and conventional designs. This design reflects innovation, which is the creativity that is not just in the sense of being creative, but also being useful, functional and workable. This website design also complies with what the students are trained to be in UTP, which is to be creative and innovative.
This website is designed according to the W3C standards. However, in order to make this website being displayed properly in most browsers, especially those none standard-compliance ones like Internet Explorer, some non-standard features has been added.
